Village of New Glarus Contracts with Pellitteri Waste Systems

Pellitteri Waste Systems will begin serving the Village of New Glarus on January 2, 2018. The company is sending out flyers to all New Glarus residents to inform them of the change. You will have a choice of which size of trash cart to choose for your residence – 35, 65 or 95 gallons. If you do not fill out the form and send it back by November 8, 2017, a 95-gallon trash cart will be dropped off at your residence in December and you are subject to a $45.00 fee if you would like a different size after the initial delivery.
Trash will continue to be picked up weekly and must be placed in the trash cart. This is because Pellitteri operates an automated collection system so any trash placed outside of the cart will not be picked up unless you have prearranged with payment for the extra charges. Recycling will continue to be picked up every other week and you will continue to use your current recycling cart.
