Wildcats Can't Hold On Against Cambridge

The Belleville Wildcats football team traveled to Cambridge to play the undefeated Blue Jays in a conference game on Friday, September 29th. The Wildcats were leading by two points late in the game, but couldn't hold on to the lead and lost, 19-25.

Cambridge dominated the first quarter, leading by 10 going into the second. The Blue Jays scored a touchdown early in the second before Belleville got on the scoreboard when Coltyn Winkers ran it in to the end zone from one yard out. Quarterback Nate Mabis then scored on a 1-yard run and the score was Cambridge 17, Belleville 12 at the half.
