The first two weeks of school allows the latest model of common cold to visit every susceptible teenager, and that includes members of the cross country team. Hard to run fast when nose is stuffed and lungs congested. None-the-less, the New Glarus-Monticello Girls Varsity finishes 8th, with 235 points to Waterloo's 9th with 236 points.
