New Glarus Oktoberfest will draw visitors to downtown New Glarus from Thursday, September 21st through Sunday, September 24th, for music, food, a 5K/10K Run and 2-Mile Walk, tapping of the Wooden Keg, and much more!

Please make note of the following road closures prior to traveling around downtown New Glarus during Oktoberfest weekend.

1st Street (between 5th Avenue and 6th Avenue) will be closed starting at 12:00 a.m., Thursday, September 21st through 12:00 p.m. on Monday, September 25th.

5th Avenue (between Railroad Street and 2nd Street) will be closed starting at 12:00 a.m., Friday, September 22nd through 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 24th.
