Green County Master Gardeners and Fitchburg Farms to Present Succulent Terrarium Workshop

Would you like to learn about planting a terrarium to grow inside during the winter months? Do you enjoy the new popular succulent plants that are available? Do you like to make things and put your own finishing touches on it for decorating?
Green County Master Gardeners and Fitchburg Farms, Fitchburg, WI, will be hosting a Succulent Terrarium Workshop on Thursday, September 21, 2017, beginning at 7:00 p.m., at the Green County Justice Center, Monroe. Materials will be provided for the workshop, including a small glass container, three succulent plants, soil and other growing medium, and decorative rocks, etc, for a combined cost of $25.00. Pre-registration is required by calling the Green County UW-Extension office at (608) 328-9440 and participation is limited to the first twenty-five people registered. Upon completing the workshop, you will have a beautiful decorative piece to take home and enjoy.
Cheryl Rezabek, Green County Master Gardener, will be our presenter for this workshop. Cheryl has been a trained Master Gardener since 2003, and teaches a variety of workshops at Fitchburg Farms, located north of Oregon, WI. Fitchburg Farms, situated on 46 acres of farmland on the corner of Hwy 14 and County Road MM, was established in 2013 as a full-service retail garden center that is committed to providing world-class customer service and second to none product quality. The Green County Wisconsin Master Gardeners Association was formed in Green County in 2004 to provide Master Gardeners with opportunities for professional development and community service. Master Gardener Volunteers help to provide beauty and growth in communities for flower, plant, and vegetative areas.

The Green County Master Gardeners Association meets on the fourth Thursday of the month from February through October.
