Sugar River Soccer Participates in Invitational

The Sugar River soccer team competed at an invitational at Woodside Soccer Complex in Wisconsin Dells, winning their first game against Wisconsin Dells on Thursday, and they also won their second game against Peoria Notre Dame on Friday.
On September 2nd, the Sugar River soccer team played at an invitational held at Big Foot High School.
Their first game was against Westosha Central. Sugar River won, 3-0. Goals were scored by Brock Kelly, assisted by Jared Widish, Jaden Kreklow, assisted by Brock Kelly and Jacob Krantz.
The second game was played against Poynette/Portage. The final score was Sugar River 5, Poynette/Portage 2. Goals were scored by Jaden Kreklow, assisted by Jared Widish, Jaden Kreklow, assisted by Justin Knoebel, Noah Niesen, assisted by Brock Kelly, and Jared Widish scored the last two goals of the game, with assists on both by Brock Kelly.
Sugar River's final game of the invitational was against Janesville Craig and the game ended in a 0-0 tie.
On September 5th, Sugar River hosted McFarland and lost, 0-2. No further information was provided at press time.
On September 7th, the team traveled to Woodside Soccer Complex for an invitational.
Sugar River won their first game against Wisconsin Dells, 3-1. The first half was scoreless. At minute 67, Jaden Kreklow put Sugar River on the board. A minute later Brock Kelly, assisted by Jared Widish, scored their second goal. Jaden Kreklow, assisted by Brock Kelly, scored the third goal at minute 74.
The second game of the invite, held on September 8th, was against Peoria (Illinois) Notre Dame. Sugar River won, 4-1. Jack Gentilli scored the first goal, in the first half. In the second half, Gentilli, assisted by Jared Widish, scored at minute 49. Justin Knoebel scored their third goal. Jacob Krantz, assisted by Jaden Kreklow, scored the fourth goal for Sugar River.
Sugar River hosted Watertown Luther Prep on September 12th and will host Platteville/Lancaster on September 14th. On Saturday, September 16th, they play in Monroe.
