On September 11, 2017, the New Glarus Police Department received reports of two separate businesses being burglarized some time over the weekend. During the course of the investigation, it was determined that entry was forced into both of the businesses and small amounts of cash were taken. There was physical evidence recovered from both scenes and the investigations are continuing.
