Sugar River Shuts Out Cambridge-Deerfield

On August 29th, the Sugar River boys soccer team hosted Delavan-Darien for a non-conference match. Delevan-Darien won, 5-1.

Connor DeLorme scored the lone goal for Sugar River in the first period.

Sugar River goal tender Tyler Boeck had 16 saves during the game.

“Very tight game during the first half,” said Coach Kyle Webber. “Lots of great saves by both Boeck and Valadez. DD scored off of some very good shots.”

On Thursday, August 31st, the team played a conference game at Cambridge-Deerfield and won, 3-0.
