Road Closures During New Glarus Family Festival

The New Glarus Family Festival will draw visitors to downtown New Glarus on Sunday, September 10th, for kids’ activities, car show, music, and food.
Please make note of the following road closures prior to traveling around downtown New Glarus during New Glarus Family Festival weekend.
Saturday, September 9th: Closure of 3rd Avenue (between 2nd Street and Railroad Street) on Saturday, September 9th.
Sunday, September 10th, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.: Closure of 3rd Avenue and 4th Avenue (between 2nd Street and Railroad Street). Closure of 2nd Street (between 3rd Avenue and 4th Avenue). Closure of Railroad Street (between 3rd Avenue and 4th Avenue). 4th Avenue will be kept open during Sunday morning services.
