On Saturday, August 26th, the Monticello volleyball team hosted the Six Rivers Jamboree volleyball tournament. Monticello went 2-6 in the tournament.
Abby Wicker led the team with 41 kills and 10 blocks, while Hannah Zanow had 28 kills and Alyssen Noriega had 21 kills, five aces and a team best 87 digs. Miah Brokopp led the team in assists, with 32.
The Gold Bracket winner was River Ridge, defeating Black Hawk, and the Silver Bracket winner was Juda, defeating Highland.
The team played Black Hawk on Tuesday and will host Argyle at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, in the Elmer Lemon Gym.
