Knights Crush Hilltoppers in First Game of the Season

Zach Feller led the Knights in rushing yards with 114.

The New Glarus/Monticello Knights played their first game of the season against the Catholic Central Hilltoppers on Friday, August 18th.

Senior Tanner Jelle scored the first touchdown for the Knights, and the extra point by Trent Sigafus was good. Shortly after, the team scored a safety. Zach Feller ran it into the end zone from four yards out for the next touchdown and Noah Zimmerman brought the score to 23-0 in favor of the Knights with his 15 yard run near the end of the first quarter.
