A Beautiful Weekend for NGFD Firefest, Alphornman Triathlon and Volksfest in New Glarus

There was plenty of activities last weekend in New Glarus. New Glarus Fire Department held their annual celebration, Firefest, on Saturday. The event featured a number of family friendly activities, great food and wrapped up with the Greenfield Brothers and Madison County providing the entertainment. Sunday began bright and early with the Alphornman Triathlon and the AlphornKids Splash 'N Dash. On Sunday afternoon Volksfest, a celebration of Swiss Independence Day, was held at the Wilhelm Tell Shooting Park.
