2017 Registration is now open for the Alphornman Sprint Triathlon and AlphornKids Splash ‘N Dash!  Visit the ‘Register’ page at http://www.newglarusalphornman.com for additional information.  The Alphornman Triathlon and AlphornKids Splash ‘N Dash will be held on Sunday August 6, 2017, mark your calendars! Swim a 1/4 pool swim (waves according to swim times and divisions), bike 15 miles through beautiful Wisconsin country roads and run three miles along the edge of America’s Little Switzerland.

The Splash ‘N Dash, for kids 4-12 years old, combines swimming and running to give kids a taste of what it’s like to participate in a triathlon. Pre-race briefing will take place near the flag pole in New Glarus Village Park at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 6th. Participants will swim in the village pool before they head into the transition area and then take off on their run.

Please Note:  Online registration closes at 11:59 p.m., on Thursday, August 3, 2017.  Paper form registration is available until race day, and from 6:00 a.m. – 7:00 a.m., race morning.  Please see the ‘Register’ page for further details.  USA Triathlon rules will be followed for all disciplines of the event. 

The charm of America’s Little Switzerland will transport you as the course makes its way through the quaint streets and rolling countryside routes around the village. This little town comes alive with tradition and excitement celebrating the annual Alphornman Triathlon. 

All transitions will be in the Village Park, along with the pool and the post-race pavilion. The race registration fee also includes admission as honored guests to the Swiss Festival Celebration Volksfest at the Tell Shooting Park, located just three blocks from the Village Park finish. All race participants are invited to be a part of the post-race activities. Celebrate with an afternoon of great Swiss entertainment, great food and New Glarus beer, and great Swiss culture and tradition. Bring your friends and family to join in the fun after your race!
