The Monticello school district is again the recent recipient of a $25,000 grant from the Wisconsin Technology Initiative to help reduce the financial barriers of integrating instructional technology into the Technology Education classroom.

The grant award will provide the catalyst for significant changes in Technology Education curriculum and facilities. A touch panel SMART board will be added for instruction and demonstration. A CNC (computer numerically controlled router), known commonly as a ShopBot, and a 3D printer will be added for design, engineering, and production classes.
