Dear Editor,
The Friends of the Chalet of the Golden Fleece wish to thank those who supported our fundraising event at Hawk’s Mill WineHaus on June 3rd.
We’d also like to thank Edelweiss Cheese Shop, the New Glarus Hotel, Dawn Johnson, Denise Anton Wright and Hawk’s Mill WineHaus for their generous sponsorship of the event.
I’d also like to acknowledge all the wonderful volunteers who work very hard to keep the Chalet of the Golden Fleece open to the public, perform maintenance, do research and work on our inventory project, along with countless other acts of generosity. Without you, this wonderful museum’s future would be in question. The Friends continue to be grateful to the Village of New Glarus Board and the Park and Rec Board for their support and to Village staff, particularly Lynne Erb and Bryan Gadow. Together we are making the Chalet a viable tourist attraction in New Glarus once again.
