Steve Hodgson, Commander of the Stuessy-Kuenzi New Glarus American Legion Post #141, presented a New Glarus Public Safety Personnel of the Year Award to Rachel Anderson of the New Glarus Area EMS. Anderson has also been named EMT of the Year by the American Legion's Third District, as well the American Legion's Wisconsin EMT of the Year.
On Memorial Day, three local heroes were honored with certificates from Stuessy-Kuenzi New Glarus Post #141 naming them New Glarus Public Safety Personnel of the Year.
Staff Sergeant James D. Hataway, of the 994th Air Force Reserve Security Forces Squadron, has been named the Enlisted Reservist of the Year. Hataway is a member of the Stuessy-Kuenzi Post #141 in New Glarus and is a Combat Arms Instructor at Luke Air Force Base in Arizona.
