Take the Bus to Breakfast on the Farm May 27th

The 2017 Green County Breakfast on the Farm will be hosted Saturday, May 27th, from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., at McNeely’s Rollin’ Green Dairy Farm, located at W425 Elmer Road, south of Brooklyn, Wis., off Highway 104. While there is field parking adjacent to the farm, attendees and volunteers are encouraged to take advantage of free bus shuttles. Buses for first shift volunteers will leave from Walmart in Monroe at 4:45 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. Attendee buses will begin service at all three locations listed below starting at 5:30 a.m. The last shuttles will leave the farm at 11:00 a.m. There are three convenient park and ride locations in the county:
Monroe Walmart – 300 6th Avenue W, Monroe, Wis.
New Glarus High School – 1701 2nd Street, New Glarus, Wis.
Albany Lions Club – 402 N Cincinnati St., Albany, Wis.
Sponsors of the free shuttle service include The Woodford State Bank, Sugar River Bank/Bank of New Glarus, First National Bank & Trust Company, Town Bank and Wisconsin Bank & Trust. The Bank of Brodhead is also sponsoring a bus for customers.
Breakfast tickets can be purchased at the door and are $6.00 for adults, $4.00 for children 6 – 10 years of age and children 5 years and under are free. The Green County Agricultural Chest and the Green County Dairy Queens act as official host and hostesses of the event. Proceeds from the breakfast benefit agricultural scholarships and grants for Green County youth.
