Wildcats Lose to Evansville and Lakeside Lutheran

The Belleville baseball team played at Evansville on April 24th, losing 10-2. Both of Belleville's runs were scored in the fifth.
Luke Kelly was one for two at bat with one run scored. Nathan Mabis was one for three at bat with one run scored. Coltyn Winkers and Jaydon Winkers had one RBI each.
Jaydon Winkers struck out two on the mound. Luke Kelly and Drew Shrader also pitched during the game.
On April 25th, the Wildcats hosted Lakeside Lutheran. They lost, 6-11.
Lakeside took an early lead in the second and the Wildcats did their best to catch up but fell short.
Luke Kelly went two for four at bat, with one run scored and one RBI. Austin Fahey was two for four at bat with two runs scored. Dylan Gratz was two for three at bat, with one run scored and three RBIs. Jackson Richter and Nathan Mabis also scored one run each.
Marcus Markiewiecz and Derek Baumgartner both struck out four players from the mound.
The Wildcats hosted Marshall on May 2nd, and play at New Glarus on May 4th. They will host Cambridge on May 5th.
