The Belleville Elementary School hosted their 3rd annual Big Read on April 27, 2017, as part of Money Smart Week, a national initiative between the American Library Association and the Federal Reserve Bank.

The district was honored to have State Secretary of Financial Institutions, Jay Risch, and Department of Financial Institutions Director, David Mancl, visit with students! These professionals helped show students the importance of being "Money Smart." They also went into classrooms, spoke with students and participated in hands-on activities.
