On April 17, 2017, the Town of Mount Pleasant held their annual meeting and regular board meeting at the Monticello Village Hall, at 7:00 p.m.

The 2017 board members, newly elected Chairman Ken Christen; Bryon Feller, 1st Chair; Jeff Malkow, 2nd Chair; Clerk Joni Waelchli-Buehl; and Treasurer Marie Bittner, presented an achievement award to past Chairman, Mike Gengler, for 10 years of service to Mount Pleasant Township as a board member and plan commission member. Citizens at the meeting also thanked Mike for all he has done for the township.
