The Belleville softball team played against Black Hawk on April 17th. They won, 12-8.

“It was not pretty on either side, with a lot of misplayed balls, walks and errors,” said Coach Connie Wunschel.

Maddie Weber made her second varsity start at pitcher, pitching three innings and leaving the game with a 6-5 advantage. Weber faced 19 batters, striking out three. Cassidy Heller took over at the mound, getting her very first save. Heller struck out one. Heller also led the team in hitting, going three for four with three runs scored and one RBI.
