The State Superintendent's Advisory Council on Rural Schools, Libraries, and Communities held a meeting on April 12th, in the New Glarus High School Library Media Center.

New Glarus District Administrator Jennifer Thayer and State Superintendent Dr. Tony Evers opened the meeting with a welcome and introductions. The business portion of the meeting included discussions about the state's biennial budget, teacher licensure, the re-authorization of the Every Student Succeeds Act, and a UW-Madison research initiative related to rural schools.
