The Village of Belleville has signed a contract with Landmark Cooperative to purchase 20 S. Park Street as the first of two sites necessary for the new Library and Community Center. Preliminary discussions regarding purchase of the second parcel at 105 E. Pearl Street are underway.

The $167,500 contract has Landmark Cooperation responsible for demolition of existing buildings on the site and any environmental cleanup, if required, prior to the Village taking possession of the property.
