On Sunday, April 30, 2017, from 2:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m., the First Annual “Go Bigs or Go Home” Trivia Fundraiser will be held at Puempel’s Olde Tavern, 18 6th Avenue, New Glarus. This event will include an afternoon of fun and friendship with a trivia competition, snacks, a cash bar and lots of door prizes. The cost is $10.00 per person, with teams up to six people. Play alone, coordinate a team or join with others on the day of the event.

On December 12, 2016, New Glarus lost a well-loved resident, Jeremy Bigler, aka “Bigs.” Bigs’ death left a really big hole in the hearts of many locals. Among many other things, Bigs loved trivia, playing weekly for many years. He and his friends proudly played in the name of Puempel’s Olde Tavern, and enjoyed not only weekly trivia but also New Glarus PTO and Library fundraisers and more. In honor of Bigs, this trivia event will raise money for a scholarship fund in Jeremy’s name, to be given to a New Glarus High School student.
