Knights Held Lead Over Vikings Until Game Suspended

The New Glarus girls softball team opened their season on Tuesday, March 21st, at Black Hawk.
The first two innings were scoreless and in the bottom of the third, Black Hawk scored six runs, adding a seventh in the fourth. The Knights came back with four of their own in the fifth, and two in the sixth to come within a point, but in the bottom of the sixth Black Hawk scored their final run to win the game. The final score was Black Hawk 8, New Glarus 6.
Maya Kramer had two hits for the Knights. Ashley Judd walked twice, while Zoe Moen walked once. Judd also had three RBIs. Riley Parke...
