Monticello School Board Collaborates with Other Schools
April 6, 2017
Twenty-seven members of the Juda, Albany, Monticello, Brodhead and Blackhawk (JAM'B's) met in Monticello's Collaboration Lab on March 22. The meeting was a hybrid of general board operations and discussion, along with discussions about the academic cooperative that began and is still extremely successful now. This type of process for boards is uncommon yet schools do similar professional development all the time for staffs. The boards discussed practices, shared resources, and initiatives. Overall the boards felt it was very valuable and plan to continue with periodic meetings.
