The Norsk-Cowboys won the 2016/17 Sugar River Euchre League Championship match, beating Kleeman's 424 to 381. Using eleven different subs throughout the year the Cowboys are able to win their fourth championship match out of the last five years. Losing only one game, Marvin Thompson and Roger Olstad were the trailblazers for the Cowboys on this drive, rounding up 111 points.
