The Sugar River Euchre League’s 86th season came to an end for most players last Thursday night when the results of the Spring Tournament were tallied and announced by League President Jerome Krantz. Thirty-six players invaded Shenanigans in Barneveld to test their skills and luck against fellow players. Players were also able to examine season averages, who was skunked and who recorded perfect scores. The season’s high average of 105.4 was corralled by Cowboy Tom Schlimgen.

Tom and Janice Magnuson racked up 119 points, just 1-point short of a perfect score, to win the tournament....
