The Monticello Ponies played a WIAA regional game at Cambria-Friesland on February 28th. The Ponies took an early lead in the game before Cambria-Friesland went on a 12-3 run early in the first. The Ponies were back within 2 with about eight minutes left to go in the first, but Cambria-Friesland went on a 38-9 that spanned the last few minutes of the first half and the first nine minutes of the second half to ensure their victory. The final score of the game was Cambria-Friesland 73, Monticello 34.
