Belleville Police Chief Bill Eichelkraut was among many guest readers as part of the Belleville School District's Read Across America Day.
The School District of Belleville celebrated National Read Across America Day (RAAD) - better known as Dr. Seuss Day - with students and community members for the second year in a row! RAAD encourages reading across our country with events and celebrations occurring in schools, libraries and communities. The Belleville Elementary and Intermediate Schools participated in school-wide events the entire week of February 27th through March 3rd. Activities included: Principal Read Aloud Day, Silly Sock Day, Green Day (in honor of Green Eggs and Ham by Dr. Seuss) and Favorite Book Parade Day....
