Belleville Students Take First in State Tournament

On Friday, March 3, 2017, a team of five Belleville High School students, Otto Anson, Grace Schulting, Grace Przybyl, Joseph Sokol and Brock Kelly, traveled to Edgewood College to compete in the LifeSmarts State Tournament.
The quiz show style competition tested the student's knowledge in the areas of personal finance, the environment, technology, health and safety, and consumer rights and responsibilities. The Belleville team placed 1st and each student received a college scholarship. They were also invited to compete at the national competition in Pittsburgh, PA.
