Diane S. Jones, age 54 of New Glarus, passed away on March 1, 2017, after a battle with Huntington's Disease. She was born on December 6, 1962, in Fort Atkinson, WI, to her parents, Franklin and Barbara (Smith) Else.

Diane graduated from Jefferson High School and then went on to graduate from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a degree in Nursing. On August 17, 1985, she was united in marriage to Michael Jones in Cambridge, WI. Diane worked as a nurse at the Monroe Clinic Hospital for almost 30 years. She was a member of the Washington Reformation Church in Monticello.

Diane is survived by her husband, Mike of New Glarus; children, Amanda (Nick Meyer) Jones of Madison, WI, Cory Jones of St. Paul, MN, and Annie Jones of Green Bay, WI; and her mother, Barb Else of Fort Atkinson, WI. She is further survived by an aunt, Esther Else; and a cousin, Janet (Steve) Buckingham.

She was preceded in death by her father; and a brother, Tom.

Funeral services were held at 12:00 noon on Monday, March 6, 2017, at the Zentner-Beal Funeral Home, 29 Sixth Avenue, New Glarus, WI, with Pastor Mary Gafner officiating with burial in the Swiss Church Cemetery, New Glarus.

Relatives and friends called from 10:00 a.m. until time of services on Monday, March 6, 2017, at the Zentner-Beal Funeral Home in New Glarus.
