American Diabetes Association Alert Day
According to the CDC, almost 29.1 million people in the United States have diabetes, or 9.3% of the population! While an estimated 21 million have been diagnosed, unfortunately, 86 million have pre-diabetes. The estimated total of direct and indirect costs for this disease is 245 billion dollars.
