Avalanche's Game Against La Follette/East Ends In Tie

 


On February 7th, the Monroe Avalanche co-op hockey team traveled to Hartmeyer Ice Arena to play Monona Grove. The Avalanche lost, 2-9.

Monona Grove hit the back of the net first during the game, and Monroe’s Tyler Johnson answered back with a short handed goal a few minutes later. Monona Grove scored four more times before Travis Edmunds, assisted by Tyler Johnson and Cade Martin, scored the second goal late in the second period on a power play. The third period was dominated by Monona Grove, who scored four power play goals in less than 10 minutes.
