Monday night, January 2nd, 2017, the New Glarus Lions club awarded five scholarships to the following local students: Haley Reeson, daughter of Dean and Rae Reeson, is enrolled at UW-Oshkosh in Marketing and Communication. Grace Tollefson, daughter of Jeff and Heidi Palmer, is attending Winona State University in their Nursing Program. Jessica Van Dusen, daughter of Larry Van Dusen, is attending UW-Green Bay in the Human Biology Program. Zoe Nevil, daughter of Mike and Shawna Nevil, is enrolled at UW-Platteville majoring in Elementary Education. Michael Jennrich, son of Paul and Julie Jennrich, is attending UW-Madison studying Chemical Engineering.
