Early on in the game against Pecatonica on January 31st, the Ponies held a 2-point lead, but Pec went on a 24-6 run, followed by another run of 16-5 to finish the half. The Ponies trailed by 26 at the half.

The Ponies never got closer than 26 points in the second half, and were outscored 27-22 by the Vikings.

“We knew going in we had to work hard to contain AJ Hendrickson, who went over 2,000 points for his career on Friday,” said Coach Mark Olson. “We did a decent job against him, but too many turnovers led to easy baskets for them and we weren’t able to stay in the game.”
