On January 9th, the Belleville Wildcats boys basketball team traveled to Darlington. The Wildcats were behind by 33 points at halftime and only scored 5 points in the second half. The final score was Darlington 66, Belleville 21.

"They are ranked #2 in the state and we allowed them to play like it.  I don't think there was much belief that we could really compete with them from the tip," said Coach Jarod Wichser.  "Darlington is a better team than us but they aren't 40 points better.  We have a lot of work to do."
