Belleville Red Cross Blood Drive Thank You

 


Dear Editor,

We thank all the blood donors and volunteers who braved the icy streets and sidewalks and strong winds on Tuesday, January 10th to insure a successful drive. Our goal was 51 units and actually 56 units were collected.

New levels were achieved by some donors: Dick Bovre, four gallons; Joe Lacy, three gallons; Keith Steffen and Brad Halvensleben, two gallons; and Clarice Loeffelholz and Tori Smith, one gallon.

Other donors include Lavon Olson, Jerry Haak, Denny Meyer Sr., Samuel Christen, Barb Babler, Don Wouestman, Andy Connors, Cindy O’Connor, Keith Beutel, Randall Lettman, Kathy Gobel, Mike O’Connor, Linda Drea, Christine Belle, Rick Francois, Ed Francois, Cheri Kainz, Jerry Brown, Deloris Butler, Samantha Rhiner, Erika Kiesling, Don Sparby, Elaine Gerber, Esther Moore, Reagan Andersen, Steve Rohde, David Brown, Nina Woods, Joe Donlin, Casey Funseth, Jeanine Mabis, John Kennelly, Diane Donlin, Pam Sharon, Sally Hoffman, Juanita Harbort, Barb Appelt, Beth Karv, Joleen Elsing and Heather Hofmaster.

We want to thank St. Francis of Assisi Parish for the use of St. Mary of Lourdes Hall, the Post Messenger Recorder, Culver’s of New Glarus (which provided “pint for pint” coupons for the donors), the Belleville Public Works Department, the volunteers, and especially the donors for our successful drive.
