Boy Scout Troup 106 Earns Hornaday Unit Certificate

The Boy Scouts from Troop 106 in New Glarus have earned the prestigious Hornaday Unit Certificate and Badge. Dr. William T. Hornaday, an ardent conservationist, established this awards program to recognize Scouts who undertook and completed truly exceptional conservation projects. Earning one is hard work - it is supposed to be - but it's worth it.
A Hornaday Unit Certificate was awarded to Troop 106 after they completed five merit badges related to conservation and the environment. In addition, the unit carried out a local environmental/conservation project. The project was two days...
