Sugar River Youth Wrestlers Compete at Darlington, Oregon and Waunakee

Both Madox and Mason Mau captured 1st place at Oregon on Saturday, January 7th, pinning five of their six opponents!
On Saturday, December 31, 13 youth Sugar River wrestlers and their families traveled to Darlington to compete in their annual Coach Hackett Memorial tournament. Almost 300 wrestlers were in attendance with competitors from several states and many State Qualifiers in a variety of brackets and age levels! Tough competition all day.

On Sunday, January 8th, 10 Sugar River youth wrestlers hit the mats again! Trei Udelhoven went to Waunakee and competed in their annual Badger Wrestling Club event. Trei came home with 2nd Place, finishing 3-1-1 for the day in his five-man bracket. Nice going Trei!
Nine other Sugar River youth wrestlers made the trip to Baraboo High school.
