The New Glarus Knights girls basketball team traveled to Belleville on December 19th to take on the Wildcats, losing to the home team 68-72. The Wildcats outscored the Knights during the first half and were ahead by just 7 points at halftime. New Glarus Coach Kim Burton stated, "It was an intense game played by both teams."

Grace Schulting poured in 20 points for the Wildcats and had four rebounds and five steals. Putting 16 on the board for Belleville was Jade Halvensleben, she also had four rebounds and one steal. Rachael Heittola scored 13 points and had 19 rebounds and one block.
