Tri-Insure Community Fitness Center
The Tri-Insure Community Fitness Center is scheduled to open on January 3, 2017. The Monticello Sports Boosters began fundraising to transform the weight room into a community fitness center in the spring of 2016, and with the help of many generous community donations, it is ready to provide Monticello with a beautiful and functional facility.
The hours for Monticello School District residents and alumni will be Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m.-7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. During the month of January, a staff member will be there to do a required orientation of the facility. After January, new user orientation will be by appointment only.
Donors to date include: Alice and Gene Fahrney, Carolyn Johnsrud, Eldon and Kriss Ace, TRAC Trucking LLC, Lois Hopkins, the Curry Family, Monona Plumbing and Fire Protection, McCutchin-Bittner Family, the Roe Family, Rob and Barb Smith, Dr. Brad Freitag Family, Olivia and Evan Feller, Tanner Mentz, Washington Center 4-H, the Ron and Jen Blumer Family, Larry and Joyce Hummel, Bankers Trust, Dean Health Plan, EMS Insurance, Greenwoods State Bank, Monticello Lions and Lionesses, Monticello Community Club and Tri-Insure.
