On Thursday, December 15th, the Monroe Avalanche Co-op Hockey Team traveled to the Mandt Community Ice Arena to face the Stoughton Vikings. Stoughton won, 8-5.

Monroe’s Travis Edmunds, assisted by Tyler Johnson, scored the first goal for the team early in the first period on a power play. Stoughton answered with two more goals, but near the end of the first period, Riley Jones scored again for the Avalanche.
