The Avalanche Classic Bantam A home hockey tournament was held at SLICE December 17-18. The Avalanche took on Beloit Blades A for the first game of the tournament. The Avalanche were quick to get on the board 27 seconds into the game with a goal by Luke Kuberski, assisted by Haley Knauf and Cade Janecke. Hayden Roth, assisted by Tessa Janecke, found the back of the net halfway through the first period. The Blades answered with two goals. The game moved into overtime with a 3-on-3 sudden death.
