Barbara Jo "Barbie Jo" Stauffer joined her parents, Henry and Florence Stauffer on Tuesday, December 13, 2016, a week before her 64th birthday. She was born December 21, 1952, in Monroe, WI.

Barb lived a busy full life in New Glarus, Monroe, and Mount Horeb. She loved people and enjoyed her work and the homes she lived in. Over the years, Barb worked at A&W, Cross Plains Library, Hilltop Inn, and Ingleside Nursing Home, but the most important job of her life was MARC Center.

She is survived by her cousins; dear friends; and her guardian, Muriel (Bill) Olson of Mount Horeb.

Funeral services were at 6:30 p.m., on Friday, December 16, 2016, at the Ellestad Camacho Funeral Home, 500 N. 8th Street, Mount Horeb, WI, with Rev. Jeff Jacobs officiating. Burial is next to her parents at the Swiss Church Cemetery in New Glarus, WI. Visitation was from 3:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m., on Friday at the Ellestad Camacho Funeral Home.
