Panthers Take Down Avalanche

 


The Monroe Avalanche Co-op hockey team traveled to Oregon on December 9th to take on the Panthers in a conference match up. The Avalanche lost, 1-11.

“The past few games things have been steadily improving. Tonight we just couldn’t get into a groove and get anything going,” said Coach Josh Smith. “We started flat and just couldn’t get our speed up. We’re now just looking ahead to our game against Stoughton on Tuesday.”

Colton O’Connor, assisted by Payton Stauffacher and Tyler Johnson, scored the lone goal for the Avalanche early in the third period.
