Avalanche Lose Two at Home
The Monroe Avalanche Co-op hockey team hosted DeForest at SLICE on November 29th, losing 3-6.
Monroe’s Tyler Johnson was the first to score, assisted by Joe Wyss, in the first period. DeForest scored the next three goals of the game.
Tyler Johnson, again assisted by Joe Wyss, scored in the second period.
“We played really well tonight and it was a 2-3 game going into the third period, and momentum was on our side. Then we ended up taking some preventable penalties and Deforest was able to pull ahead,” said Coach Josh Smith.
