The Monticello Village Board met for their regular meeting on November 2, 2016. All board members were in attendance.

The board discussed the process for selecting a new Police Chief. On November 17, retired Dodgeville Police Chief Dave Kieffer will be conducting interviews of the two candidates that have applied for position internally. Blue Mounds Police Chief Andrew Rose will conduct the background investigations and will pass his findings along to Kieffer.
