Sugar River Raiders Regional Champions

The Sugar River Raiders soccer team is both Conference and Regional Champions! In the WIAA Regional game played against Cambridge/Deerfield at Reddan Park on October 20th, the Sugar River Raiders soccer team was victorious, winning 3-1.
Jaden Kreklow scored the first goal of the game, assisted by Jack Gentilli, in the first half. Less than ten minutes later, Jack Gentilli, assisted by Kreklow and Connor DeLorme, scored the second goal. Cambridge/Deerfield scored near the end of the first half.
In the second half, Gentilli scored the third goal, assisted by Brock Kelly.
Goalkeeper Cole Myers had two saves during the game.
Moving on to the WIAA Regional Final game versus #3 seed Evansville on Saturday, the #6 seed Sugar River was ready for a battle on the field. Sugar River shutout Evansville, 2-0.
Jack Gentilli scored SR's first goal in the first half, followed by Jaden Kreklow's goal in the second half.
Goalkeeper Cole Myers had an amazing 13 saves during the game.
The Raiders will play McFarland on Thursday, October 27th at 7:00 p.m., at Reddan Park in Verona, in a WIAA Sectional game. The winner of this game will advance to Sectional Finals at Reddan Park on Saturday at 4:00 p.m.
