Knights Suffer Heartbreaking Loss to Arcadia

The New Glarus-Monticello Knights traveled way, way up north to play Arcadia Raiders in the first round of the 2016 WIAA State Play-Offs on Friday night. The Raiders finished second in the Coulee Conference. The Knights played hard the entire game, but lost to the Raiders, 34-21.

Arcadia scored twice in the second quarter to take a 14-0 lead before NGM's John Chenoweth passed for 43 yards to Cullen Brooks for a touchdown. Trent Sigafus kicked the extra point.
